Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Genzzi — our learning management platform. Please read them carefully before creating an account.

Last updated: June 19, 2026

Acceptance of Terms

By registering an account, accessing, or using the Genzzi platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms") and our Privacy Policy.

If you are using Genzzi on behalf of an institution, you represent that you have authority to bind that institution to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

Plain language: Using Genzzi means you accept these rules. If anything here is unclear, please contact us before using the platform.

Accounts & Roles

Genzzi has three user roles, each with distinct permissions and responsibilities:

🧑‍🎓Student
  • ·Enroll in courses
  • ·Submit assignments & projects
  • ·View own grades
  • ·Receive certificates
  • ·Manage own profile
🧑‍🏫Staff
  • ·Create & manage courses
  • ·Create assignments & projects
  • ·Review submissions
  • ·Release marks & feedback
  • ·Manage batches
🛡️Admin
  • ·Full platform access
  • ·Enroll & manage users
  • ·Issue & revoke certificates
  • ·Access audit logs
  • ·Configure settings

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at support@genzzi.in if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may not create more than one account per person, or create accounts using automated methods, without prior written approval.

Eligibility

To use Genzzi you must be at least 13 years old. Users under 18 must have verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Accounts may only be created by human individuals. Bot accounts, scrapers, or automated agents are prohibited unless you hold a written API agreement with Genzzi.

Courses & Enrollment

Course enrollment may be self-initiated (where permitted) or administered by Staff or Admin. By enrolling in a course, you agree to:

  • ·Engage with course content in good faith and meet deadlines where set.
  • ·Not share restricted course materials (syllabi, assessments) outside the platform without written permission.
  • ·Understand that enrollment can be revoked by an Admin for violation of these Terms.
  • ·Accept that courses may be updated, restructured, or discontinued. We will give reasonable notice for material changes.

Enrollment status transitions — Active, Completed, Dropped — are recorded and may be reflected in certificates and transcripts.

Assignments & Submissions

When you submit work through Genzzi, the following terms apply:

  • ·Submitted work must be your own unless the assignment is explicitly designated as a Group type, in which case collaborative submission is permitted.
  • ·Plagiarism, copying another student's submission, or misrepresenting AI-generated content as original work is a violation of these Terms and may result in account suspension.
  • ·Late submissions are accepted unless explicitly restricted by the Staff member, but will be flagged as late in the system.
  • ·Submissions may be superseded (a newer version replaces an older one) at the Staff's discretion within the submission window.
  • ·By submitting work, you grant Genzzi a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, display, and share it with the relevant Staff and Admins for assessment purposes.
Academic integrity: Genzzi may use automated tools to detect duplicate or AI-generated submissions. Confirmed violations are escalated to Admin and recorded in your audit log.

Certificates

Certificates of completion are issued at Admin discretion once eligibility criteria are met:

  • ·Each certificate carries a unique certificate number tied to a student and course record.
  • ·Certificates may be revoked if issued in error, if academic misconduct is confirmed, or if platform terms were violated.
  • ·Genzzi certificates are issued for educational purposes and do not constitute professional licences unless otherwise stated.
  • ·Certificate records are retained indefinitely to support future verification requests.

Acceptable Use

Your use of Genzzi must respect other users and the integrity of the platform:

✓ Permitted

  • Completing courses and submitting your own work
  • Communicating respectfully with Staff
  • Reporting bugs or policy concerns
  • Accessing the platform via standard browsers or our official app
  • Downloading materials marked as downloadable

✕ Prohibited

  • Reverse engineering, scraping, or crawling the platform
  • Attempting to access another user's account
  • Uploading malware, exploits, or harmful scripts
  • Harassing, threatening, or impersonating any user
  • Sharing login credentials or selling account access
  • Using the platform commercially without written consent

Intellectual Property

Genzzi content — the platform interface, course structure templates, branding, and software — is owned by Genzzi and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

Your content — work you submit (assignments, projects, uploaded files) — remains yours. You grant Genzzi a limited, royalty-free licence to store and display it solely for delivering the Service. We do not claim ownership over your submissions.

Course materials created by Staff are owned by those Staff members or their employing institution. Students may access them for personal study only.

Fees & Payments

Access to Genzzi is provided by your institution or programme coordinator. Individual course fees, if applicable, will be disclosed at the point of enrollment.

  • ·All fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise at the point of purchase.
  • ·Where Genzzi collects payment on behalf of an institution, the institution's refund policy applies.
  • ·Failed payments result in a 7-day grace period before access restrictions are applied.

Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account that:

  • ·Violates these Terms or our Privacy Policy.
  • ·Engages in academic misconduct, fraud, or harassment.
  • ·Poses a security risk to the platform or other users.
  • ·Has been inactive for more than 24 consecutive months (with 30 days' notice).

You may delete your account at any time from your settings. Deletion triggers the data retention process described in our Privacy Policy. Certificates already issued are not revoked solely by account deletion.

Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Genzzi disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Genzzi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. In no event shall our total liability exceed the greater of the amount you paid Genzzi in the six months preceding the claim, or fifty US dollars (USD $50).

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Genzzi is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Before initiating any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at legal@genzzi.in to seek informal resolution. We will make every reasonable effort to resolve disputes within 30 days.

Any unresolved disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration unless prohibited by applicable law. Class actions and jury trials are waived to the extent permitted.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we do:

  • ·We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
  • ·For material changes, we will send a platform notification at least 14 days before the effective date.
  • ·Continued use of Genzzi after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
  • ·If you disagree with any change, your only remedy is to stop using the Service and request account deletion.
